I received a DM from an NHS whistleblower. This is being posted anonymously but I do know the identity. The original tweet was mysteriously deleted (not by me as stated). I am recreating the thread here. Please share far and wide and screenshot

"i work as a housekeeper at a NHS hospital & by the 2nd week of lockdown we had emptied 7 out of our 20 wards, patients was either sent home or put in care homes. its only the last 8 weeks that they have all opened up again....

we have been quiet on the covid front, anyone that was infected was put on 1 ward, as far as i know no one died here, that ward remains open but is empty for now....

all throughout this "pandemic "we have been so quiet, staff was deployed to do other jobs, cleaning etc...

i witnessed several nurses/docs making tik tok videos in corridors & empty wards. the chief exe sent us all emails warning us not to post anything online or report how quiet we are, if we do then there will be trouble!

we was getting these massive deliveries from companies such as boots, super dry, coca cola, walkers, pizza hut, cadburys bringing us massive deliveries by the lorry load, we was told it was donations, one delivery had an invoice for £30k..

I asked the driver what it was for & he told us it was paid goods, i over heard 2 managers talking about it & they said they was given a covid budget from the government and it had to be spent on anything, so they got all these goodies in for everyone..

i gave my share to some homless guys while i was walking home. the rest of the money is being spent on refurbishments on the hospital,

i think whatevers going on, the NHS know the truth

one more thing, during the clap for NHS nights. i finished my shift at 3pm. we was all told to return later in full uniform to stand outside the hospital to clap as the BBC cameras was there. i refused to go, then had a telling off for not showing unity"
