Today is the second reading of the Internal Markets Bill, the most boring stage of all the proceedings and apart from early grumblings, you won't get to hear the full opposition and amendments by later in the week.
The real fun starts next Monday at the third reading. Geoffrey Cox has been clear that he disagrees with it on a legal basis but don't consider that the start of an actual new rebellion,
he is likely to abstain and not be a beacon of hope for remainers to cling to. The media are building the story up, the Guardian running with crazy figures of 30-40 planning to vote against it.
Those who vote against need to look no further than the likes of Grieve and Letwin to understand what happens when you try and stand in the way of giving the people a proper Brexit.
It still gives us a few rocky weeks ahead but to quote Sir Geoff, "It's Coming…..". They can't and won't stop us getting the Brexit we voted for, no more pally, pally with the EU, no more side agreements and games.
This isn't the May Government. All the action (or lack of action) starts at 2:30 pm and the Second Reading result may come around 9:30 pm-10 pm.
