Please enjoy the latest photo to randomly come across my desktop--one my father took of my mother in the mid-1970s.
He used Kodachrome exclusively--an exquisite photographic canvas. His photos of mom always had a kind of tenderness and grace I would love to compile in an album.
Her relaxed pose, and the general perfection of a moment captured without any kind of of pretense or self-awareness, is so precious to me now.
I& #39;m no art critic (obviously) but am always moved by his portraits. I& #39;ll post more to this thread if the opportunity ever arises. He was marvelous at capturing things "in the moment" and accordingly I don& #39;t have the time to post his photos without a kind of spontaneity too.
