let me just ramble a bit to an almost empty timeline
i used to have this habit of playing a song on a loop whenever I& #39;d read a book. one specific song for each of the books I& #39;d read.
it was only background stuff and i would never pay much attention to the song as i got grabed bythe narrative from the book but it made my mind connect the book and the song very closely.
so now whenever I listen to those songs, I& #39;m transported in time to the book and the feelings I got while reading each book for the first time.
It& #39;s honestly incredible.
It& #39;s honestly incredible.
It doesn& #39;t matter if it has been yearsss since I read the book, the flashback is very real.
I don& #39;t know why i don& #39;t do it anymore, maybe I& #39;ll start again... It& #39;s very fun, connecting two different mediums through the power of the subconscious
To exemplify, this song here will always be attached to the first Percy Jackson series. https://open.spotify.com/track/1Rr17slUHwVRkDz4A2TUcM?si=sT-QZqBoSGq8_6y6skYVRQ">https://open.spotify.com/track/1Rr...
What the Water Gave Me by Florence + the Machine WILL ALWAYS be the soundtrack to Neil Gaiman& #39;s Sandman. Listening to it is incredibly powerful to me. https://open.spotify.com/track/10H6mvk1cPPTzs3IHsHSHi?si=6zkVCZRXS6GkAlzjl39XHQ">https://open.spotify.com/track/10H...
