About a year ago...

I went to DQ with my family... and I thought it was going to be any other visit...

well my family got up to the counter... and I didn’t realize at the time that the employee taking our order had a preferred pronouns tag on their hat... (2/?)

So we ordered... and I remember accidentally misgendering them right there...

once my family told me about it... I felt like shit...

I lost my appetite...

I felt embarrassed...

I wanted to cry...

I wanted to go home...

I wanted to curl into a ball...
