I’m watching this discussion about current/upcoming women in the singing game and I wanna remind everyone that there was a period of almost a decade where strong singers sold poorly and also didn’t tour too well. We were the target demographic. C’ya later!

These 24 year olds found a different lane/style to create in because 24 year olds a decade ago, who actually were trying really close to hold up to their forebears, were paid dust

Support strong singers if you want strong singers but those 24 year olds are now 34 year olds and in show business you might as well be 65 trying to start that far out in the game.
