#Eklavya

Eklavya was Son of King Hiranyadhanu & Queen Surekha. He was a prince of the kingdom named Shringverpur near Pryagraj. Nishad Clan was ruling Shringverpur from the period of Ramayana. Once the Army of Nishadas thought to defeat Bharat's army.
When Drona refused to teach him due to laws of Kaurvas. Then he started to practice by watching Drona teaching from the colony of the Bheels near Gurukkul. He was learning by stealth.
He didn't wanted to be known in public about his Practice that's why he pierced the dog's mouth. When Duryodhan came to know about this, he complained to Drona which resulted in cut off of Eklavya's Thumb.
Even after prince of enemy kingdom Eklavya was not sentenced death because of intervention of Drona. Eklavya was Son of Hiranyadhenu and was pledged to fight from side of Jarasandh. Relationship of Hastinapur with Magadh was not friendly.
So it was not ethical for Drona to teach Eklavya. Later he destroyed the army of Yadvas from the side of Jarasandh and in the end he was defeated and k!lled by Shri Krishna.
