It’s a frightening situation. Many unis have become openly antagonistic towards any student union. Many have tried to squash campus politics as a whole. It’s terrible.
Speaking out critically abt the current regime in this climate is dangerous in every sphere - not just student politics - but this thread is a good reminder of how bad it has gotten how fast, and how systematically the govt worked to try and kill student politics
