She is one of the most relatable characters in the whole series. When you first see her you think shes just some generic quirky weirdo but then.

Episode 5, Yohane Descends-
Episode 5 starts with her being funny and quirky but then after her stream ends she let's the veil off. She reveals who she really is. She cries about how insecure she is of all the things she's doing and she wants to stop even though she loves it
god damn this character has so much depth. Through the episode she is herself because she can't control it. while everyone around her loves the way she acts since it's so different she just wants to be normal
She joins the current members of aqours and helps them but when she realizes that her ways have hurt them she leaves them and decides to change no matter how much it hurts her. She doesn't want anybody to be hurt she has a lot of compassion for others
But she is chased and begged to stay as her true self. Shes scared but she accepts. Now her new friends will accept her no matter how she acts. After this episode anytime she is on screen she manages to light up even the darkest moments in the show
How she talks about things is unique from any other character. All the characters are different in their own way but if they were to say they were going to get ice cream one would say "Let's get ice cream!" or "I want ice cream!" However,
Yoshiko would say something hilarious and 100% unique by saying something among the lines of "LITTLE DEMONS... We need ice cream to cool our souls before we spend eternity in hell!" The way she talks keeps the show a lot more unique. This is a person opinion but
Before Yoshiko was a thing (E1-4) I really didn't like this show and I was upset that these characters weren't clicking with me and I wasn't finding enjoyment in any of the characters. But as soon as I saw Yoshikos episode I fell in love with the entirety of sunshine
Just as a result of how amazing of a character she is. In my eyes she was what helped me appreciate all of aqours instead of being bitter towards muse ending. Yoshiko really helped me cope with muse ending because i genuinely felt upset about that.
Moving on before I talk about how much emotional impact she has on me...
She has a lot of bad luck. For lots of reasons I feel I have lots of bad luck in life. So having Yoshiko even if she is not real. When I have something bad happen to me (not something major)

It will actually help me feel better to think that this is something Yoshiko experiences A LOT.
Another huge thing is the potential to speculate on what she is capable of. There is actually quite a few instances of her doing actual things that aren't possible *Suddenly being behind dia and ruby, suddenly appearing in front of aqours, suddenly being on stage, etc etc*
When I left another fandom and didn't care for my favorite character anymore (that character had lots of possibilities) I felt a lot was missing with having a favorite character. But Yoshiko really helped. Because the show had actual instances of her being some-
sort of magical being, my mind can think endlessly on what kind of magical powers she has. It's really something you wouldn't be able to experience with any other love live character and it makes Yoshiko feel so special to me.
Another thing that's really cute is how she acts around adults or people she respects like leahs parents, some people think she's dumb, but her respect towards people who are older (BESIDES HER MOM? LOL) really shows her mature side and the way she handles the dog
With Riko was very mature, i initially thought Yoshiko was more quirky then Riko but in that episode Yoshiko was way more calm and was seemingly the (straight) character. Also HER SINGING VOICE IS THE BEST THING EVER. Her voice is so beautiful. I love her voice so much.
I love how her voice can be really squeaky and baby but can go straight from that to dark and depressing. I love her vocal range so much. Also the fact that she plays video games... It's like shes perfect O_O
She also rarely shows emotion to people. This is something I do a lot and out of all the characters she only (from what i remember) cries ONCE. And it was only in a humor scene where they were crying because ruby was growing up.
Her outfits are AMAZING I love how different they are. They're so dark man. I love it.
The way she will correct people when they call her Yoshiko. BUT if they call her Yohane she'll correct them and make them say YOSHIKO. It's so cute she's so baby i love it so much. She WANTS everybody to call her Yoshiko so she can fight them over it, it's so silly
and charming and it's never dull. I also love when somebody finally falls for her antics she gives her a demon name and everything and is so amused and is like "AHA I GOT YOU NOW"
I PROBABLY MISSED A LOT. But I really wanted to do this thread also as something I can just send to somebody because I get asked the question "why do u like yohane so much" WELL THIS THREAD i can send..
