Before you started reading this thread, I want to clarify that I have utmost respect towards Doctors who are honest in their duties and put their life on line to protect us from this epidemic. I want to salute True Corona warriors but want to expose those who believes that money

is important even in difficult time we are facing right now.

- Medical study still remains to be most prestigious in India hence there is high competition to get into this field. Medical colleges and institutions has rightly gauged it and took it as opportunity to make wealth

through it, hence most influential politicians and businessmen got involved in Medical education system which resulted in higher number of such institutions however fees for enrolment in these colleges are on higher side but with hope for better career and future, most of parents

agreed to pay these fees even with help of educational loan. They have hope that once their child successfully completes his/her study, will help them financially to payoff these loans. This is root cause of the problem

- With time flies, Doctor has become profession rather than

service. In order to payoff their educational loan and other liabilities, doctors tried to find out newer ways to recover and earn money.

- Ordinary people still have very limited knowledge of medicines hence they blindly trust doctors and abide whatever they have instructed.

- Why doctors prescription always have pharmacy/medical store address on it or medical store always nearby clinic of doctor, the reason is that whatever doctor prescribed to you, he has some share of profit out of it, apart from checkup fees which you already paid

- Same applies

to pathological test as doctor advise you to get it done from the lab which he suggested as there is mutual understanding between lab and doctor to share profit.

- I have been observing it for quite a long time and decided not to outrage over it because as long as it is not

harming anyone, it can go on but now situation has changed.

- COVID-19 epidemic changed entire scenario. People need doctors and hospitals now to save their lives and expected them to carry out their duties with honesty. While there are few doctors who are working hard to combat

this situation, there are doctors who took this as an opportunity to earn some bucks.

- COVID-19 centres has mismanaged medical facilities. Relatives of patients are not allowed to meet citing reason of infection even dead bodies are not handed over to them as per guidelines

- Human organ traders along with few doctors took this opportunity as there are no PM done neither body handed over as it will be packed in sealed body bag

- While home quarantine is good option, most of doctors advising patients to get admitted as it will be more beneficial for

them.

- While government and many other organisation has donated PPE kits and ventilators to various medical facilities, they are still charging it in final bill which puts pressure on patient and its family.

- While generic medicines are better and cost-effective option, there

are very few doctor suggest you to go for it as it will impact their ‘cut’ offered by MR or pharmacist.

- COVID-19 situation sighted by few doctors as an opportunity to earn big rather than their duty to safeguard people who has faith in them.

- COVID-19 test is another example

- Test result of COVID-19 are manipulated based on instructions from doctor and patients are being scared so that they will take further steps immediately before going for second advice.

I am not generalising my statement as there are trustworthy and honest doctors exists
