Well I started with the first one and this intro scene is really powerful I love it

The age gap between Elizabeth and Norrington makes me so uncomfortable

I want a whole movie just about Elizabeth and her early life because she seems like the most interesting person

Poor Will has spent his whole life being treated like he& #39;s invisible and trapped in this box of propriety but then breaks free and finally realizes who he is and I adore him so much

I adore Elizabeth& #39;s hairstyles soooo much they are gorgeous

Norrington& #39;s line about "why yes, I& #39;m a bit nervous myself" and then elizabeth just dropping will forever be one of my favorite scenes

I got ~exposed~

Okay but like Will in this brown suit with the white sleeved shirt>>>

I love the aesthetics so much

The lighting of the shots when Elizabeth is on the Black Pearl are so fulfilling

Poor Elizabeth is lowkey terrified of pirates rn and I dont blame her

Barbossa has such depth as a villain and the later his development into more of a hero and I love it

Barbossa just causally moved out of the way and let the whole mast fall down around him, king stuff right there

I think it& #39;s very impressive that Elizabeth just casually knows how to shoot a gun even though she& #39;s the governor& #39;s daughter lol

I love how this is the only movie where Keira has really nice, long nails as a show of her status/wealth

I love how the mist just follows the Black Pearl everywhere it goes

Norrington really just exudes " *sigh* I dont want to be here" energy

The fight scenes in this movie are so well choreographed

"You like pain? Try wearing a corset!"
We stan a queen but in all historical accuracy, corsets weren& #39;t supposed to hurt fyi

Just started the second movie and the coloring of the logo is so beautiful

Elizabeth is so smart but criminally underrated

I really want to see Will and Elizabeth before their wedding, falling in love, the engagement, Elizabeth sharing her news with friends (wait but does she have friends I feel like her character only lacks in the fact that she has literally no life in Port Royal)

I& #39;m working on my pirates cross stitch while watching these movies, I& #39;ve missed the relaxation of it all

This series thrives off of setups and payoffs, but the second movie really could& #39;ve been set up more in the first because you basically go into the movie blind with no hint of plot/conflict (I dont think they were planning a second one so whatev)

I love how when Will visits Elizabeth in her cell, the light shines down on her and Will is like a shadow next to her

WAIT I JUST REALIZED ANOTHER BIG PAYOFF
Elizabeth: I& #39;ll wait for you
Will: Keep a weather eye on the horizon
THAT LINE HAPPENS IN BOTH MOVIES, BOTH TIMES WILL LEAVES

I wish Will would whisper "Keep a weather eye on the horizon" to me but *sigh* he& #39;s fictional

the big fight scene in the 2nd movie is my least fave because it doesn& #39;t help you learn anything about the characters, it& #39;s just a time filler, and it& #39;s more of "hey they& #39;re fighting!" than fighting for a reason
