in this thread i go into detail about why this movie is absolutely not okay & why it needs to be removed as soon as possible.

ok, first of all, this movie about CHILDREN is rated TV-MA.... why would a dance movie about children need to be intended for a “mature audience”....

the main character, amy, is a muslim living in senegal & she feels after seeing the “cuties” dance that her religion is “oppressing” her which is just... not? what being a muslim is about.

the main characters are ELEVEN & there’s an entire scene of them cursing at & throwing rocks at amy, who was watching them dance.... idk about you but an 11 year old telling another 11 year old that they’re going to “fuck them up” doesn’t sound like appropriate behavior.

there’s also another scene of the main characters watching PORN ????? & talking about tape in the school bathroom... in this same scene they push many into the boys bathroom & dare here to take a picture of a another CHILD’s genitalia....

these girls are also seen constantly smacking each other’s butts with a close zoom on their ass almost every time.... uh

and i’m only 35 minutes in.

there’s ALSO a scene where one of the cuties blows up a condom that they found & puts in in their shirt & calls it a boob

there’s ALSO a scene where they’re all asking a older boy if he wants to touch their “tits”... i am once again reminding you that they’re 11...

at this point i’m only 42 minutes in & im getting really uncomfortable

there’s ANOTHER scene where amy is seen twerking for TWO grown men to get out of having the cops called on them....

the next scene shows the girls just dancing but the entire scene is just basically close up shots of their butt. this scene is almost 3 minutes long.

there’s ANOTHER scene where amy’s pants get pulled down by some bullies & we just see an eleven year old in her underwear for almost a full minute.

amy is also shown posting NUDES ????? on social media & she stabs another child in the hand who called her out for it

yasmin, another main character who has been fat shamed throughout this entire movie, is heard throwing up in the school bathroom which implies that she making herself throw up. it’s never brought up again.

there’s, once again, another close up shot of the girl in short shorts & they’re seen rubbing their crotch & twerking in one another’s faces.

the movie is finally over. thank god. now after all that, i understand why people are canceling their netflix subscriptions. this movie is absolutely vile & i feel like i need to bleach my eyes after watching it.

the writer, director, & producer of this movie all need to be under investigation for approving something as disgusting as this movie was. i truly do not recommend it to anybody & i regret watching it.
