Cth:
- making ppl feel guilty for being born to loving parents who strive to give them the best tools to excel (tuition, books, etc)
- making (some degree of) self-sufficiency a privilege when it's actually been our traditional ways of life, and our roots

Ya, aku faham konsep privilege ialah bila only some of us dapat tapi orang lain tak dapat. But you don't solve inequality by pulling everybody down to the lowest common denominator. You solve it by RAISING ppl up to enjoy the most basic, healthy, balanced life.

Masalah kita yg paling besar ialah golongan super rich who hoard, control, and manipulate everything. Tapi yg korang dok sibuk nak attack sapa? M40 and lower T20 yg ada la duit lebih utk saving or enjoy sikit-sikit. Focus la woi, kamon.

Look, there's inequality that exists because of statistical variations and that's part of life. Because wealth is relative, some people will always be richer / poorer than others.

But there's structural wealth inequality that is destroying society and we need to solve THAT one.

Or okay we need to solve wealth inequality first because it's the most pressing problem of our time. Once we've solved the problem of billionaires, protected elites, institutionalized privileges (and don't forget climate crisis!) then we can proceed with addressing the rest.

So many times I see leftists attacking the most mundane good things as a privilege and it's such an ugly way to view life. I don't want to live in a society shaped into this… all condemnation and self-flagellation, no celebration. I don't want your joyless guilt-ridden future.

Kalau kita nak spread awareness pun, nak sembang pasal privilege and inequality, nak highlight how the impoverished are disadvantaged by the system, boleh je but in a way that doesn't alienate the very ppl whose support you want. You're all smart cookies. Don't sabotage yourself.

We want to dismantle the existing systems because they're exploitative and unjust? Ok cool I'm on board. But remember that destruction is followed by a temporary vacuum that'll need to be filled. What systems are we building AFTER is just as important.
