I first tweeted about $DPHC when it was under $12. It& #39;s above $25 now. I kept adding all the way thru $14, because of how high my conviction is. Over a month later, it& #39;s still high. A thread on why I think it& #39;s still a buy and has plenty of room to run: https://twitter.com/stocktalkweekly/status/1291356885300514817?s=20">https://twitter.com/stocktalk...
Story of @LordstownMotors factory is a marketing tool in itself. A retired factory of a legacy American automaker in $GM transitions to a new-age, EV factory reviving an industrial town. They& #39;re targeting the rugged, blue collar American that buys trucks https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LeyuV7lBWsg">https://www.youtube.com/watch...
Market potential is huge for EV startups. Most are targeting the American market to debut. Americans purchased $92B of pickups in 2019 alone. In April of this year, monthly sales for pickups passed passenger cars for the first time in US history. $DPHC Endurance is a pickup truck
$DPHC Endurance is a one-of-a-kind pickup. 7500 lbs towing capacity, zero emission, equivalent 75 MPG. Unique 4-part drive train (typical drive train has over 2000 moving parts); expected to have better traction than any truck on market. That& #39;s how you differentiate a product.
CEO Steve Burns: “The fact that we are going after the commercial fleet market is a differentiated value proposition”. He& #39;s right. No other proposed EV pickup has a commercial fleet integration of any kind. This gives $DPHC much better ability to attract corporate buyers.
The Endurance has a ton of preorders. Just a month ago, the number was 27k preorders for an est. revenue of $1.4B. @LordstownMotors recently announced that preorders surpassed $2B which would account for over 38k preorders. Endurance also plans to beat $TSLA Cybertruck to launch
$GM ties to $DPHC didn& #39;t stop at the factory loan. They invested $75M in @LordstownMotors, which is looking, so far, to be a much better bet than their investment in $NKLA. $DPHC is also backed by $WKHS, who has a 10% stake (CEO Steve Burns is also on their board). Ties matter.
Having a factory & production partners in place is one of the biggest challenges for an auto startup. @LordstownMotors & $DPHC have solved this problem early. That& #39;s important because it accommodates one of the most important aspects for a growth company, and that& #39;s SCALABILITY.
On $NKLA: @HindenburgRes note crushed the stock& #39;s momentum & @nikolatrevor failed to deliver a substantial rebuttal. Former $NKLA investors are looking to move their money to other EV ventures. With the Badger potentially off the table, $DPHC has a clear runway for EV pickups
