so coming in last place is the main street electrical parade.. now listen. i’m not saying its bad, it’s cute and i think them bringing back this parade for nostalgia is like a cute idea but this parade is just so. boring. and the soundtrack also is so annoying
also it was good maybe the first time they brought it back but after like the fifth time it ain’t cute anymore like do something else pleasee? i mean i do like the pete’s dragon part where all the lights turn off or whatever but most of the floats are just meh
this list has turned out to be much harder than i realized it would be lol i’m trying so hard to remember everything i’ve seen
ok now next is disneyland’s halloween screams fireworks show //: i love all things halloweenie so like it makes me sad to put this so low but again its just.. boring? like disneyland needs to get a better halloween fireworks show cause this just is meh
i mean the jack head is cool and i like the zero that flies by its cute but the soundtrack is boring like i wish they made it more fun? its hard to describe but like the beginning is good and thats it.. its just like a villains fireworks show (which is more boring than it sounds)

i mean admittedly the headless horseman, the ballroom dancers and the graveyard diggers are all pretty cool but still not anything super spectacular? it’s just like oh thats cool and then i move on
the last thing i’ll say about this parade is it just seems cheap? like the costumes kinda look cheap and some of the additional things on floats or other things just look cheap/not really up to *disney* standard /: ik its a seasonal parade and all but still...
ik theres no money for this (especially rn) but we definitely need a new halloweentime parade + fireworks show at disneyland

i mean like the tech, choreo and costumes for this are all really cool so i can appreciate that and i think theres definitely something there like the concept isn’t really bad? but it just feels like they were like hmm.. how can we make fantasmic but shorter and for daytime?
i just really would like to see a better show put in this theatre, like we have this awesome theatre space with some great technology as well like c’mon.. we can do better than this fantasmic knockoff
ok now next is storytelling in the royal theatre, so ik some people LOOVE this show but again just like map, i as an adult can’t really enjoy this as much since it feels like it is trying to pander more to kids
and it’s fine that it’s meant for kids i get it it’s literally a princess show but i think theres a way to make a show appeal to both kids and adults and disney has been able to do it countless times, so i don’t fully understand why it’s different here but it’s not a big deal
i will say i do appreciate all the extra little things done in this show like playing music along with the dialogue or adding in those little bits of almost like choreo with the maidens and props are well done and i like that a lot!

ok i’m gonna attempt to finish this now but before i get into it i wanna say i completely forgot that the villainous halloween WOC existed & that is by far the worst disney show i’ve seen so that instead goes on the bottom of my list lol
i don’t think this one needs much explanation but in order to remember what it was this is what i called it on the list in my notes LOL
also speaking of WOC i haven’t seen like any of the different variations of it except this halloween one and the original one and there is too many for me to go and watch all of them and tbh i don’t really like WOC very much so i’m only gonna rank the original WOC here

like its so boring? it’s just a medley of disney music that’s made to be like techno/rave-y with projection mapping and fireworks like it’s clearly meant to mimic a party/rave type vibe but i just do not like it it’s so cringey.. i hate the get your ears on song too
i mean it’s sort of fun to hear in passing like if i’m walking somewhere during it i’ll like be like oh cool and dance a bit but watching the show is a waste of time imo.. like how did we go from disneyland forever to THIS?? i don’t understand
