and I don't say this to be rude - a lot of really smart people have made the best decisions they possibly could have over many years, it's just that those decisions in the aggregate left us with a shituation
wondering if a clean break a la deno is the way out of this mess. I'm deeply skeptical of deno, a lot of the features its front page touts are things I don't really want and the features I do want aren't touted, but it's not like node was the first server side js runtime either
