Boneless Wings Are Not Nuggets

Composition

Nuggets are trash. They are made from scraps of chicken meat. They are popular because they are easy. Easy to prepare at home, easy to eat in the car, easy to store frozen, the list goes on.

Boneless wings are traditionally made from breast meat, inherently better quality than the nugget or even the wing itself. After starting out as a better cut it is lightly breaded and fried the boneless wing is then tossed in sauce(something the nugget could never pull off).

Then there is the grilled boneless wing. A nugget simply cannot be grilled. It just can't.

The boneless wing is not an imposter of the traditional wing. It stands alone as its own product, with dignity. It would be silly to argue that boneless wings are nuggets because they are not made from wings, no one has ever thought boneless wings are deboned wings.

Significance of Boneless Wings

Boneless wings are served alongside wings, and daught beer, and sports, and music, and at titty bars. Whether it is in a sports bar, at a party, or in your own home, whenever anyone eats boneless wings, nuggets are never considered instead.

Could be the cut of meat, could be the convenience and neatness of eating compared to traditional wings, people eat boneless wings because it is exactly what they want. Not nuggets. Not deboned wings. Boneless wings.
