I will never understand how religious people arent constantly like "dear god, what the fuck?! Amen"
Before someone comes for me, it's a joke. I stopped being religious for many reasons but the "wtf god" thoughts were up there
Can I ask a follow up that may be controversial because you guys got me curious?
How do you balance god making all of the shittyness with the belief that he'll do the right thing? Like how can you constantly be like god wtf but also worship/have faith in him
Okay things I've learnt:
-Jewish twitter seems like the place to be
-a lot of people no matter their religion or gods often have this same question
-the religious people I grew up around needs to check some things
-my religion crisis is on going still
Lowkey can I just ask more religion aligned questions and this nice side of religion twitter answer them for me because people in this thread make more sense than anybody in my family or at the religious schools I went to
(also I'm scared to have these convos in person)
Okay people liked that so I'm taking it as a yes:

How do your religious views effect views on science?

Like I know catholic people who will swear down that evolution is fake and my brain kind of blue screens when they say that
This is all so facinating!! Another potentially controversial one:

Separation of church and state? If no, why?
I have now muted this thread because my phone couldnt cope! I will try and to back to conversations though!!
To summarise:
Have conversations with people and be open about these things rather than just preach to them

People will surprise you in a good way

Your religion can decide what you do, not what others do

Theology is actually fun when conversation are had properly!
