1/6 Of spokespersons, lies, lies and more lies!

Why do ardent government critics e.g. @ProfJNMoyo suddenly lie through their teeth in defense of govnt when they become gvnt spokespersons or decent lawyers like @advocatemahere start to bend the truth when they are spokespersons?

2/6 To answer this simple question lets define the nature of their job. Yes, I know other people have better definitions than mine but mine is specific for the reason of this thread. Their job description is to help the party attain political power by hook or crook!

3/6 If lying about the opposing party or a legal judgement, farm eviction etc brings in the supporters AND votes for the party, what good reason would the said spokesperson not use this tool? Surely it a dereliction of duty if one doesn't use ALL methods at their disposal!

4/6 I rank @ProfJNMoyo highly because he managed to bend the truth so much as to help clutch #ZanuPF from the jaws of defeat. I think he ranks near Joseph Goebbels who said “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it."

5/6 @advocatemahere is also becoming a GOOD spokesperson on the front of gaining supporters for #MDC-Chamisa. She seems to be striking the right cord with people who want to hear what they believe is true e.g. Grobler farm eviction was an invasion.

6/6 People MUST understand that political parties are in politics to gain political power. The spokesperson is as good as they help their party in this regard. The ONLY surprise would be people who are surprised that parties try to gain it by hook or crook and so does their spoks
