Do you know what today is? It's the 30th birthday of "Law & Order" and I am going to celebrate by sharing some of my L&O art.
This is "A Night Away," which exists b/c I answered a craigslist ad for "someone who can paint Law & Order characters as a gift for my boyfriend."

In early 2003 I lost my job and was watching hours of "Law & Order" reruns on TNT each night. So I did the natural thing and adapted an episode into a coloring book and Conan O'Brien gave one to Jerry Orbach.

I as also able to use my employer's vacated loft space to do a pop-up Law & Order group art show, before pop-up pop culture group shows were even a thing.
In 2010 I curated a sequel show at Meltdown (RIP) called "These Are Their Stories," where the concept was to make a piece based on a logline from the DirecTV guide. For example, "McCoy Attempts to Prosecute Two Bounty Hunters" by @scottlava
"An Egocentric Poet's Journal" by @beatonna
"Death of a Bully" by @boxbrown
"Goren Takes on a Chess Master" by @whirringblender
"Killer Has a Show Fetish" by Ben Walker. (Rene Balcer came to the show and bought this and all the other Goren pieces he could get his hands on.)
"Two Teens Disappear from a Museum" and "Detectives Look for a Racist" by @dynamoe
"The Wife of a Once-Popular Singer (Gary Busey) is Found Dead," by @zdarsky
"A Complicated Murder Case" by yours truly. I was like, "I do enough painting, I want to make a diorama."
"Detectives Look for Last Customer," an incredible cross-stitch by @Schindermania

Moving back to my own stuff, here is "The Code (Briscoeshido)" https://brandonbird.myshopify.com/collections/prints/products/the-code-briscoeshido-signed-print
"Crimefighters (Credits March)." I remember someone got mad at me because the Christian Bale Batman is not contemporary to this Law & Order cast. https://brandonbird.myshopify.com/collections/prints/products/crimefighters-signed-print
And the Marvel counterpart: https://brandonbird.myshopify.com/collections/prints/products/in-the-mighty-marvel-manner-signed-print I am a big fan of the final L&O ensemble.
Lately I've gotten back into painting Sam Waterstons. https://brandonbird.myshopify.com/collections/prints/products/jack-attack-signed-print
And Jerry Orbachs. In fact, I'm on the verge of completing the finest Jerry Orbach portrait of my career. https://brandonbird.myshopify.com/search?type=product&q=orbach
Oh yeah, I should probably mention the Jerry Orbach car. https://twitter.com/Brandon_Bird/status/897841725837787138?s=20
And the SVU Valentines, which are still one of the most popular things I've done (after the Nic Cage colorforms and the paintings of Shia LaBeouf as every Doctor Who). https://brandonbird.myshopify.com/collections/greeting-cards/products/svu-mini-valentines-set
In conclusion, I enjoy the program "Law & Order."
