i want to cancel this thread because of that episode where they made lynn's boss fulfill the ~lesbian predator~ stereotype, and then lynn admits that she's not even bi. and also the episode where william finally sees lesbians as more than just a sex obejct b/c his sister came out

that even our own media as lesbians & queer folks was exclusionary and inaccurate towards our own community. it doesn't excuse it, of course, but like... look at the material, mama.
anyway. this thread was fun when i was just calling out the obvious queerbaiting/pandering to lesbians, even if it wasn't intentional. but with the constant, shameless sexualization of lesbians and framing us to be predators, it's just not fun or funny anymore
