Just wanted to do some shout-outs for the @LondonPodFest @podmakerstreams weekend in collaboration with @riseshineaudio because there are some amazing people sharing their knowledge for it!

First up is Emmanuella Kwenortey ( @emankwen) who is Assistant Commissioner @BBCSounds and reads #podcast pitches all day. She& #39;ll show us how to write a structured pitch tailored to the commissioner you& #39;re targeting.
Then, me on lockdown pod launch. No fancy schmancy equipment or studio needed. I use: remote recording software (£50), a mic (£12) plugged into my phone and, yes, my wardrobe (covered by rent). It& #39;s near 11,500 downloads now & was shortlisted for Best Host @lovieawards last year.
Third session of the day is by the multi-award-winning @ScottFlashheart who will reassure you that the early days of pod-making are all about learning from your own, invariably charming mistakes! Probably True? Definitely True!
Sunday Service begins with #audiofiction reigning monarch @GejWatts of @BBCStudiosAudio walking you through starting a fiction podcast. I dream of making one!!
Then it& #39;s @AxelKacoutie of @guardianaudio on sound design. His work can be heard on The Guardian& #39;s Today n Focus and on Radio 4& #39;s dreamy Short Cuts, among other places, and I& #39;ve definitely handed him an award or two

Ending the weekend on a high with huge names @_kathytu of @nytopinion audio + @trufelman of @TheCut& #39;s pod will break down their own pieces that they love. It& #39;s going to be incredible.
