A glimpse into Taylor Swift's life behind the cameras. The hardships and sad events that have followed the worldwide superstar her whole life ; a thread
Taylor was bullied ever since she was young and treated like an outcast by her peers for wanting to become a country singer. She barely had any friends except her best friend Abigail (who she continues to have to this day).
She began songwriting, singing and learning the guitar at a very young age.Her first demo tape (at 11) was rejected thus her family moved to Tennessee with hope Taylor would be able to purse her dream. In 2006 Taylor signed with BMLG, which at the time was her biggest opportunity
The debut album (2006) was just the beginning of Taylor's success that started to grow massively album after album and record after record. But along with that, it brought a lot of criticism and hatred that was inevitable to avoid.
In 2009 Taylor got her acceptance speech interrupted by Kanye West who thought she didn't deserve the award. That was Taylor's first scandal, and the beginning of a very complicated relationship with Kanye West.
People started to call her untalented, fake and not deserving of her achievements. They took an odd interest in her private life which is one of the main reasons why she still gets hated to this day.
She wrote songs like All Too Well (about Jake Gyllenhaal), Dear John (about John Mayer) where she talked about how badly these relationships had affected her and how she wasn't treated fairly. She could barely sing them without getting emotional because of how heartbroken she was
They called her a serial dater, a psycho and someone who writes songs only about her exes which was one of the reasons why she made songs like Shake It Off and Blank Space (to give people exactly what they wanted to see).
Heartbreaking news followed in 2015 when Taylor posted on her tumblr blog revealing that her mother was diagnosed with cancer.
Her mother is still battling to this day and Taylor even dedicated a song on Lover to her, titled Soon You'll Get Better which features her mom's favourite band, Dixie Chicks.
February 2016, Kanye West released a song called "Famous" where he called Taylor "that b^tch" and Taylor later posted a statement explaining how she was never asked for permission on that part of the song. Kanye was able to fool everyone with a faked phone call.
Unfortunately, majority of people didn't believe Taylor and started to cancel her. #/TaylorSwiftisOverParty trended worldwide and all her social medias were getting spammed with snake emojis.
Due to all the pressure, hatred and feeling unwanted by the world, Taylor disappeared.

In her latest documentary she explained why she felt the need to dissapear.
tw// sexual assault
In 2013 Taylor was sexually assaulted by David Mueller, who lost his job right after and in 2015, the man filed a lawsuit against Taylor for defamation and sought $3M in damages from Taylor. She sued him back for $1. In Aug 7, 2017 began the jury's selection.
August 14, Mueller is found guilty and Taylor wins the trial along with her symbolic 1 dollar.
1 year after her trial, Taylor talked for the first time about it on the Reputation Tour.
In late June 2019, Scooter Braun with whom Taylor has had a freud since 2016, shelled out $300M for Taylor's former label, Big Machine, giving him ownership over Taylor's first 6 albums.
Taylor was also prohibited from singing her old catalog at the AMAs and she tweeted about it.
This was the first time all artists and celebs supported Taylor and called out Scooter and BM, which eventually lead to BM releasing a statement and allowing her to play her old music.

Soon after, Taylor said that she plans to rerecord all the albums she doesn't own.
March 21, 2020, the real phone conversation between Taylor and Kanye got leaked proving that Taylor was telling the truth since the beginning and Kanye & Kim K. were the liars and manipulators who edited the phone call back in 2016.
tw// eating disorder

In her Miss Americana documentary Taylor opened up for the first time about her eating disorders and how she used to starve herself because people would never stop bodyshaming her.
Taylor has never given up or let people drag her down. She is a hardworking, talented, kind and generous woman that uses her experiences to inspire and help others. She's a true role model and someone our generation is blessed to have!
