PSA - Long Thread Incoming

I went to sleep last night thinking about the insensitivity said on this platform last night. What Wylie and Cam did was absolutely racist and ignorant and there’s further I can say on that. However, none of this should be turning into a race war...

and argument about whether we can or can’t be racist to white people. Personally, why be racist or even just insensitive to anyone. As a black person, I’m well aware of the innumerable racial insensitivities that white people have done towards my people.

And it’s absolutely fucked. However, ending racism, isn’t all the races turning on white people to make them feel bad. It’s ending all insensitivity, prejudice and hatred, which granted is hard to remove from people who’ve had those principles installed in their minds from birth.

Racists weren’t born racists. They learned and institutionalized it from the principles from their lives when they were younger. All I want is to be treated like an equal member of society, not to put others down while doing so. Because that’s no different than what white people

*theres no reason to go around hating each for our social differences when we’re already social outcast to begin with and we’re all the same deep down. I want peace, that’s all I ask. This all seems lofty but it is attainable, it just takes all of us.
