Website. Why? Coz dari 80% online potential buyers di Malaysia yg guna Google, 66% akan cari website penjual utk gather more info. 44% akan ke socmed (SM) & e-market places (EMP) . Negara maju mcm US, Korea etc, lebih 90% akan guna Google for info.
Di negara maju, mereka lebih percaya pd website then SM & EMP berbanding Malaysia. Rakyat Malaysia semakin matang & tech savvy & trend mereka juga semakin incline ke website to build confidence utk membeli. Awak juga perlukn SM & EMP especially start-ups.
Tapi jgn tunggu lama2 utk ada website sendiri to complete the ecosystem of your online business. Website is the home, shop & your online branding. U cannot promote your brand di EMP coz the business model is based on pricing & reviews. Its hard for newbies with new products
To compete dengan seasoned traders where they can at anytime lower their price. SM is good to generate leads & act like a billboard pada business. You should direct all your SM traffics to your website. All postings di website is hak mutlak kamu while not di SM & EMP.
For long term sustainability, pls consider owning website sendiri. Choose like .MY domain instead of .COM coz .MY command higher trust to customers sbb masa apply to register, your IC, biz certificate akan di validate di JPN, SSM etc. Berbeza dgn .COM yg anyone
Boleh register & hide their ownership details & no validation on registrant authenticity. That is why, most scams, fraudster akan guna .COM. Tetapi ramai juga yg guna . COM tu legit. Ni bukan generalization tapi base dari research sendiri.
Ikut kajian pada marketing psychology, products anda akan lebih terjual sekiranya potential client nampak your promo or ads 7x or lebih. So tingkatkan kekerapan ads & promo serta pada yg dah membeli, minta mereka drop their reviews. Reviews is the number one factor to close
