a thread of (at home) online class prep/inspiration,
for me and you.
—the day before;
• clean and tidy your room, even if you have a separate workspace. to minimize distractions, because i know your room’s state would be one.
• proceed to organize your workspace with the equipment that you need; laptop, books, stationaries, charging cables, etc.
*note that your workspace can be an entirely other room, your desk, a couch, even a little corner in your room.
the point is: separate your ”rest” and “working” zone.
—the night before
• pamper yourself. use face mask, exfoliate your skin, moisturize.
• if you’re extra, light a candle.
your body is going to be ready to welcome the busy days ahead, because you make it feels good.
—the day!
• wake up early, stretch a little
• proceed to make your bed and drink water
• if you like, do a little meditation to collect yourself, feel more grounded; also journaling —or simply plan your day ahead
• brush your teeth, wash your face, take a quick shower even. to make sure you “”wake up””
• dress neatly but still comfortable
• wear some make up if you will
• eat some breakfast. if you’re not used to eat one, make some smoothies or a quick snack and have it on your side to accompany your class
• also have a cup of coffee/tea/matcha or any other of your choosing, alongside a glass of water to keep you hydrated!
• in between or after classes, take a little walk to refill your drinks and have a meal (if there is enough time)
• after all of your classes have done for the day, give some times to collect yourself; relax your mind and body. light up a scented candle, play soft music
