tonight!!! i am starting my rewatch of all the MARVEL movies!!!! most of them i’ve only seem once or twice so i’m v excited. also this’ll become a thread of my reactions & thoughts ✹
1. iron man. this is the first time i’ve rewatched the movie in its entirety since 2012. MCU really started with a bang. i forgot rhodey had a different actor for this one and got thrown off lolol. i enjoyed watching pepper run in heels—now that’s skill right there
2. iron man 2. hello natasha 😍. definitely a step down from the first movie, but it’s enjoyable nonetheless. i liked cap’s shield just being thrown in there like nothing
3. thor. ngl, this movie was a little cheesier than i remembered. watching thor become civilized is pretty funny tho. heimdall is such a badass and the post-credits scene is such a good tease for the avengers
4. capt america: the first avenger. one of my faves, always. it’s warm and cheesy and genuine. redskull is a great villain & peggy carter deserves all the love

(can’t look at chris evans the same way tho lol)
5. the avengers. this was the first MCU movie i ever saw! it’s easily one of my favorites—you just can’t help but smile when you watch it. i love the glimpses into the iron man/captain america conflict tbh
6. iron man 3. i actually enjoyed this more than iron man 2, but nothing will beat the original. i did appreciate the bring-in of mental health. even superheroes can get anxiety
7. thor: the dark world. definitely one of the lower tier of MCU films, but loki’s performance was 💯. love the jokes too. i’m kinda glad thor/jane didn’t work out because they are so blah together lol
8. capt america: winter soldier. easily, easily one of the best MCU movies. i’ve seen it so many times and it doesn’t get old—it’s just a masterpiece
9. guardians of the galaxy. i think this is the MCU movie i’ve watched the most times, but it’s SO much better now that i fully understand thanos and the infinity stones. pretty cool that peter held one for as long as he did
10. avengers: age of ultron. this kind of freaked me out about AI not going to lie 😅 i really love the twins though. i wish pietro didn’t have to die
11. ant-man. done with phase 2! perfect movie to end with before tonight. i love ant-man y’all. it’s such a feel-good MCU movie. underrated asf
12. captain america: civil war. i really forgot how good this movie is. it’s even better after seeing all the other movies so recently. i say what i said before: captain america for president đŸ˜Ș
13. doctor strange. funny story, my ex tried to ask me out by offering to see this movie w him like three times and i kept turning him down. 😅 anyway, this has to be one of the least cheesy intro films right? it’s a really amazing movie to watch honestly
14. guardians of the galaxy: volume 2. i honestly think i never watched this movie back in the day, so it was basically my first time

this is a really good movie y’all. it got me in my feels (especially when baby groot started crying???). can’t wait for guardians 3 tbh
15. spider-man: homecoming. i love tobey, but i do think tom is the best spider-man/peter parker. and ned really is a fantastic best friend. all i gotta say is thank god we didn’t have to sit through uncle ben dying again
16. thor: ragnarök. easily the best thor film, right? no ridiculous jane foster nonsense and a really good story. real talk though, hela could kill me and i’d say thank you
17. black panther. wakanda forever.
18. avengers: infinity war. this truly is a masterpiece. also why did i cry even though i know exactly what happens later?
19. ant-man and the wasp. lower tier of marvel movies, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with looking at hope van dyne for two hours. i also cried a little when her mom came back, sorry
20. captain marvel. unpopular opinion: this movie isn’t bad. it’s not fantastic but it’s a solid intro movie and brie larson is đŸ‘ŒđŸ». we under-appreciate just how powerful carol is
21. avengers: endgame. i don’t think i need to say anything other than the fact that i’m ugly crying rn
apparently, i can't watch far from home (not on disney+ or available to rent anywhere). so end of thread! 21 movies in about six weeks.

i love MARVEL y'all. i really do. it was such a great escape from life, and i can't wait for the rest of phase 4
