so it starts with this guy who I believe is younger louis drowning he says how he always thought he’d stop meaning louis always thought he wouldn’t get in this deep into all these contracts and hiding his relationship he always thought that some way he could just be with harry

without all the complications, the masked younger louis represents him to the public him being someone he’s not so thats why he always is so relieved when he takes it off so he can have those times alone when he’s not pretending but next when louis is singing the words we made it

it cuts to him drowning I think that the whole point of this song is to say yeah we made it but at what cost obviously there is a deep love there that drives it all but look at where it got them anyways then we see the back of the girl which looks almost exactly like harry

later harry says to him don’t do this basically don’t keep signing away your life with this boss bc they’re gonna keep trying to control u and it’s hurting him too but the boss is the reason they made it and became so famous so it feels like they know best and then again we see

him drowning now I’m gonna go back to the fact that louis is mostly in the arcade which I think is him older realizing this was all a game and the prize fame and money which they won but what does it matter he was drowning so at the end when younger louis leaves the girl on the

beach older louis is there looking at her away from the games and sees she’s broken too bc of this and then dlibyh starts older louis in now in the scenes watching the boss who says no mistakes just put your mask on and louis looks sad and regretful not paying attention to the

instructions like everyone else the younger louis asks if after all this (one direction) he could have a breather but the boss says that he will always decide what he does and when he does it which makes him discouraged but then older louis is in the same location singing that

he shouldn’t let it break him and break his hopes bc he’ll eventually leave like how he left syco recently so now older louis is driving the narrative and then both louis do that friendly hug thing I think this is younger louis having a realization that things can get better in

the future that he won’t always have to do things for money for other people and that later he can create music just for him where he can drive the narrative so he steals the money and leave syco basically and we see him driving a motorcycle meaning he’s alone and doing things

only for himself and how he wants it but Harry always knew that which is why the girl is at the concert and he takes her shows her what it’s like when he’s free which I think represents after one direction but before he signed with syco but when he sees the guys he jumps to try

and escape but ends up drowning which is what was being foreshadowed since the beginning bc he always felt like he was drowning and he just needed to realize he was in order to escape

so he takes off the clothes weighing him down and gets to be with harry then we see older louis taking the money and reclaiming it and then the credits show playing only the brave bc he was brave enough in the end to be with who he wanted to and leave and do things his way

sorry this was so long I just wanted to be super thorough not trying to blue green but these videos are so clearly about l*rry

and honestly now that I think about it more I don’t think these videos are so much about l*rry I think they’re more about louis’s growth but l*rry happened to play apart in that
