Things I would change on the ao3 author inbox page if they ever bothered to ask my opinion that wouldn't take much effort at all:
-allow authors to filter by fic
-also filter by commenter
-not have the fic title be the link to the comment
-SAY WHAT CHAPTER EACH COMMENT IS ON
-allow authors to filter by fic
-also filter by commenter
-not have the fic title be the link to the comment
-SAY WHAT CHAPTER EACH COMMENT IS ON
what the point in being in fucking beta for over a decade if you don't EXPERIMENT WITH YOUR GODDAMN UI
Other user subpage edits I would like them to make maybe:
-make the history page search/filterable I KNOW THEY HAVE THE POWER
-give us chapter by chapter stats for works
-put the "last visited" marker on fic cards on the main search page

I would honestly reconfigure the whole ass page from scratch but if I'm just gonna edit whats already there...

The outrageous amount of extra clicks that an author user persona has to go through to read their comments on a particular work should be a crime
remember when I had a breakdown this weekend and did preliminary redesigns of the ao3 author view pages
no lie, every other time I've opened my stats page since then I expected them to have enacted my changes
like, that's not realistic to expect of a FUNCTIONAL dev team, but also, what a gut punch every time

give me 2-3 devs and like a month and I could get like half these implemented by Q4
