because the god of the sea loved with reckless abandon, he yearned passionately for every second he would be able to touch him - waited with bated breath for that once in a blue moon opportunity to have the god of the skies back in his arms again. https://twitter.com/scitechnature9/status/1301989182928302080
Why must a god pray?

Magindang had once laughed at this notion. Ridiculous in so many ways. They are gods, they were the ones held at the pinnacle - untouchable beings that are to be revered and worshipped.

Surely, no one else was powerful enough to be above them.
And yet now that he had met Bulan. He has spent his waking days, head tilted up to the heavens, whispering a ceaseless prayer to whoever it is whose favor he could invoke.

To listen to him.

To bless him so that he could always reach out and be granted his lover's warm smile.
On the rare occurence that they are allowed to spend time with each other, the heavens and the seas rejoice.

What a majestic sight it is, these powerful gods so vulnerably in love with each other that nobody knows where one ends and the other begins.
