Spooky Szn horror movie thread 2020!!!!!! đŸ‘»đŸŽƒđŸ€ĄđŸ‘čđŸ‘œâ˜ ïžđŸ˜±
I realized I never finished the Saw series.. so I knocked those out this week while working out.

Saw V, VI, and VII- The series definitely got worse as it went on, but I still find these movies incredibly entertaining. I love the blood, guts, and gore.
Jigsaw- I saw this movie before finishing the above Saws. Same review, basically. But since it was made in 2017 the traps and such are def done with more believability.

All the above average 6/10, but give em an extra point for the entertainment factor.
1Br (5.5/10)

An interesting concept! I was never bored, and I thought Nicole Brydon Bloom did an ~ok~ job playing Sarah. The plot holes and ending were disappointing, but it was a quick and easy Netflix watch.

Little Shop of Horrors (7/10)

I KNOW. I should have seen this cult classic years ago. Dude, this cast is FIRE and the soundtrack is so catchy. This is actually a movie I can’t wait to see the remake of (currently in pre-production!). And who wants to see it live with me?!
Child’s Play (2019)- 5/10

This was a good attempt at a reboot. It’s not a good movie, more so like a “good” bad movie. Almost felt “made for tv”.....
#alive (6.5/10)

If you know me, you know I love international movies. I’m especially a fan of South Korean horror. And I ESPECIALLY appreciate a good zombie flick. There were a few eye roll moments for me (plot holes mainly), but otherwise this did justice to the zombie genre.
I Know What You Did Last Summer (6.5/10)

A fun 90s slasher film. Exactly what you would expect, but in the best way.
Stonehearst Asylum (5.15/10)

It took me 4h to watch this 1h 52m long movie because I kept pausing to do something more interesting. Expected to, but didn’t, hate the ending.
Terrified (Atterados) 8.65/10

Now THIS is a horror movie. Creepiest I’ve seen in a long while. I’m not one easily “terrified” but damn this movie is well done (and named). This NEEDS to be made into a series/show/something.
Dogs Don’t Wear Pants (6.45/10)

This is on Shudder, but I def wouldn’t call it horror. More like a sexological thriller drama, if that’s a thing. Idk, it is now. I did enjoy the ending, which makes or breaks so many movies.

Also it’s in Finnish so you’ll need subtitles 😆
Ichi the Killer (6.25)

I was told this was a cringe gore fest, which I guess it was, but the plot was subpar to me so I was ultimately a little let down. There were some fun scenes tho.

This a movie by Takashi Miike so you’ll need subtitles for the Japanese.
Eraserhead (7.25/10)

I watched Eraserhead last night, but needed 24 hours to process wtf I watched. I feel like I need to watch it again.

All I’ll say is, David Lynch is definitely an acquired taste.
The Taking of Deborah Logan (6.75/10)

An enjoyable possession meets found footage horror movie. I’ve skipped over this title countless times and I’m def happy I watched it.
Doctor Sleep (5.95/10)

Let me start by saying I LOVE Stephen King and The Shining. A lot. So I def love the idea of this sequel more than the actual production.

This movie was much longer than it needed to be, and a majority of the characters were unlikable IMO. đŸ€·â€â™€ïž
