I’m in Chinese class rn and told him we’re translating an article on food security in Asia and he was all surprised and impressed like “you can translate that？” and I was like “yeah, with a lot of help from a dictionary haha”

I also had the first fight with my parents that we have had in a very long time, but it was actually slightly productive and vastly different from fights we had while I was in high school, per se, so that was interesting.
the biggest takeaway is that I said something about my mom making me feel dumb while I was in HS and she was like “what are you talking
