Right then premier league predictions thread- mark these down as they’re 100% correct.
20th- West Bromwich Albion
The team looks really poor for this level. Bilic will have to do wonders to keep them up. #WBAFC
19th- West Ham United
A mess of a club, owners are mad, manager is shit, players aren’t the best. Definitely think they’ll struggle. #WHUFC
18th- Newcastle United
Just look a bit average. Will probably be wrong with this one but the team just doesn’t look any better to last season, even with Wilson and Fraser. Definitely won’t be as comfortable as last season. #NUFC
17th- Leeds United
So, so deluded. How can a club with Patrick Bamford and Liam Cooper think they’re going to walk into the top 10 of the league? Will survive just about. #LUFC
16th- Aston Villa
At the moment the team is lacking big with wingers and creativity. But with the likes of Rashica/Benrahma and a new striker we’ll be fine. I’d say this is a sensible prediction. #AVFC
15th- Everton
On paper they look amazing but let’s be honest here they were crap after lockdown. Their big spending rarely works out and their best player will be Michael Keane or something. I don’t think they’ll be that good. #EFC #Everton
14th- Fulham
I think Scott Parker is brilliant, and they probably have the most prepared team of the 3 newly promoted teams. Will survive comfortably. #FFC #Fulham
13th- Crystal Palace
Yeah they finished poorly but the team is full of experience and quality. Eze will take the creative weight off Zaha a bit and Batshuayi will be a good option alongside Ayew. They’ll be fine. #CPFC
12th- Sheffield United
Another strong finish. I don’t think many expect them to threaten Europe again but there’s no chance Wilder is letting them fall apart. They’ll be very decent. #SUFC #twitterblades
11th- Brighton
They just look really good to me and I don’t see how Graham Potter isn’t rated higher. Ben white and Jayson Molumby are fantastic additions returning from loan and Adam Lallana was a really shrewd signing. I think they’ll be really good. #BHAFC
10th- Southampton
Another strong year. Don’t quite think they’ll make Europe but the team and manager are way to strong to be close to the drop. #SaintsFC
9th- Leicester City
I don’t think Rodgers will see the season out with their trigger happy board. Won’t be awful but not as strong as 2019, considering how they looked after the new year. #LCFC
8th- Burnley
I love Burnley. What a team. Just a load of rejects and journeymen who somehow work brilliantly, wouldn’t be surprised if they snuck into Europe. #BurnleyFC
7th- Arsenal
Yeah Arsenal aren’t as good as they think they are and neither is Arteta, but I think they’ll at least get into Europe through the league this time. #AFC
6th- Tottenham
Just a little bit above average team who’ll sneak into Europe again. I don’t think they’ll worry the top 4 at all. #THFC #Spurs
5th- Wolves
Wolves without a European distraction is scary. If they can keep the form they’ve been on the last 2 years they will really be in the running for top 4. #WWFC
4th- Chelsea
Business looks really really good but I’d give it a year before they’re threatening the top 2 as they’ll take time to gel. I don’t think there’s any chance of them going backwards tho. #CFC
3rd- Manchester United
Team ended so strongly and has everything going for them at the moment, including the referees. If they get sancho they are nailed on top 4 maybe even close to city and Liverpool. #MUFC
2nd- Liverpool
I just can’t see them retaining it with city strengthening. No chance of them falling apart and finishing 4th or some shite. Just not enough to do it again for me. #LFC
1st- Manchester City
Yeah it’s obviously gonna be them, I just can’t see Pep letting them disappoint again. I think they’re nailed on winners. #MCFC
