I know I go on about it a lot.

But it feels like I& #39;m living in New vs Old Power case study at the moment.
Old power works like a currency. It is held by few. Once gained, it is jealously guarded, and the powerful have a substantial store of it to spend. It is closed, inaccessible, and leader-driven. It downloads, and it captures.
New power operates differently, like a current. It is made by many. It is open, participatory, and peer-driven. It uploads, and it distributes. Like water or electricity, it’s most forceful when it surges. The goal with new power is not to hoard it but to channel it.
I know how I want to operate.
Saul Alinsky, who is good at this said...

& #39;First rule of change is controversy. You can& #39;t get away from it for the simple reason all issues are controversial. Change means movement, and movement means friction, and friction means heat, and heat means controversy.& #39;
My view. FWIW.

Know where you wanna be.
Keep moving forward.
Evolve as the world evolves.
Make good connections.
Share power.
Elevate others.
Don& #39;t be a dick.

Rules I try hard to live by.
