A girl who has been in several relationships is called a slut or "randi". For boys, the terms playboy and stud are used. Yes, a girl who has had sex is labelled characterless and a boy who has had sex is called cool and a player.
You are not asked to learn cooking just because you have the responsibility of feeding your in laws. You don't get the classic "paraye ghar" taunts. You are not expected to take care of chores. When you do, you are praised for going out of your way
Education is a privilege for women while for men its obvious to be educated. Yes, till date people prioritise teaching their sons ober daughters.
You are not forced to marry someone who is 15 years older to you.
You don't get the threats "behave properly or stay in your limits warna shadi karwa denge"
When boyfriend rapes, the girl is blamed and the mom of the boyfriend is questioned for his upbringing.
Social media is so safe for men. They don't have to care for creeps sliding in DMs. Men can keep their DMs open forever.
When a girl posts a picture, she is called a clout chaser. While when a man posts his pictures, no one says he is seeking attention. A girl who uploads her pictures has to go through sexual harassment and slut shaming again. Even women do the same
Men can wear shorts and not be cat called or called out by random "mohalle ki CCTV aunties".
So, when I reach home around 10 pm every night, the colony people give me judgemental looks, as if I am a prostitute. The annoyance here is real. In case of other boys returning home around 1 am, no judgements are passed.
I was hanging out with a boy last Diwali in my area. A few days later, my friend said that her mom told her that I was roaming with a boy. She would never have said it if I was with a girl. And when a boy roams with a girl, the society would never question him or talk about him.
When men get raped, no one asks why was he there, what was he wearing. No one says he should have been careful. Now don't say that people do not acknowledge their harassment, please, many women are not believed either.
Women actually need a reserved coach in metro because of the frequent sexual harassments. And really, men do not have to go through the fear that someone will try to grope their dicks everytime. Also, the privilege of walling alone on streets without hesitation.
Men can hangout late at night and stay at any random place when traveling without the fear of sexual harassment. Also, on social media they don't have to be so careful about whom they are following back or who is following them. No unsolicited dick pics.
Men can roam around bare chested, but a woman would be called out if her bra strap shows.
Remember Jiya Khan's suicide case? Remember what Suraj Pancholi wemt through? Now think of Justice for SSR and what Rhea is going through.
When a community has to target another Community, women are raped.
Men can ignore Patriarchy's effects and even joke about it in the name of smashing Patriarchy.
Now lets focus on cis- hets. You litreally don't have to care about being mis-gendered. You don't have to go through forced surgeries like intersex people.
Cis- het men are not shamed upon by the society for being sinful just because of their sexual orientation. You don't have to fear abandonment by family.
You are not labelled as a disgrace or derogatory terms like meetha and chakka.
Lastly, all the abusive words are misogynistic. MOTHERfucker, BHENchod, BETIchod, MADARchod.
Yes, you were born privileged and least you can do is acknowledge that. You are a part of the system.

No, am not invalidating any bad experience of men here, am just highlighting how women have it worse.
Missed out the classic one. Women cannot talk to their parents about cases of Sexual harassment cause they would be restricted. And the harassers would be ignored by saying "men will be men".

I can't understand why are people trying to cancel this by saying men suffer too. Please we women never ever try to preach women empowerment when it comes to the struggles of LGBTQIA+ Community. We know that the stage is theirs then. Why is it that men want a part everywhere?
