ppl with morals and a sense of integrity etc are the biggest threats to ppl who aint shit
mofos who do wrong and align themselves with immorality are forever convincing themselves that they dont have a better choice or that its the logical and smarter decision to behave that way..why they cant stand to see a person being an example of the complete opposite
this reality is one of the major themes in GOT imo....they showed us over and over and over again how much having a sense of honor and morality etc was almost a death senetence in a world where the greedy and selfish were prospering and dominating
that one scene where those guys showed up to steal food from those "peaceful" ppl...and the leader was like hey...u can stay for dinner...u dont have to steal from us...and then those motherfuckers just killed everybody in response....yeah..perfect example of what im speaking on
i think now more than ever its very clear to me how important it is to not allow urself to be corrupted by evil...not to compromise ur sense of integrity..for anything...our society sells us the idea that there is vindication and/or justification to do so..but the devil is a lie
reality is the more ppl who succumb to corruption..the more that idea can be sold..that the ends justify the means..and its only a matter of circumstance that keeps ppl from choosing the fucked up shit to do..choosing the immoral ..choosing to be betrayers of their own humanity
the threat of death is never enough imo to allow your soul to be corrupted either...its just not...I personally would rather die an honorable death than to live for evil and despair
remember in Hunger Games how quick them niggas came to shut that shit down when Katniss and breadboy was like....fuck it lets just both die (on our own terms)instead of killing each other for these ppl fucked up entertainment and agenda....that was a real AF message
a lot of ppl are really convinced that its better to be the devils puppet than to be completely free from his reach..i dont even know how that stuff happens..but its very fuckin real...very...i know that now more than ever also...this past year was very eye opening for me
and it really makes all the shit that is talked about in the bible and in religious text etc..make sense...it makes a lot of sense for real....all of those stories be about the battle between good and evil inside of someones spirit..inside of their souls and their minds
