Last year, NJ broke new legal ground, filing a landmark lawsuit against an online gun retailer that illegally shipped large capacity magazines to NJ.

Why does this matter? In last year’s sting operation, the online dealer sold a 100-round magazine to our undercover investigator. But the purchaser could have just as easily been the next mass shooter, looking for a way to evade our state’s gun laws. https://twitter.com/newjerseyoag/status/1141358242523688960

And yet despite all this, NJ still faces legal challenges to our ban on large capacity magazines, which @GovMurphy signed in 2018.
