So I did some chores.
I rehab’d and rehung my kitchen door.
Obviously I did it yesterday when the wind was blowing 50mph, which, yeah. Hanging a heavy wooden door by yourself in a windstorm is an *adventure*.

Then I installed a new screen door on the front door and moved the old one to the kitchen door.
However, I did not realize the front and back doors are different sizes despite living here for 10 years (they look identical!).

So I had to remove a couple inches from the middle of the door so I could maintain the edge.
My entire life is like this.
I rehab’d the hardware, changed out the screen, sanded, stained and poly’d the inside and painted the outside. It hung perfectly from its vintage hinges.

Today I am lying on the couch.
Next up are the last three windows and new stucco.

But at least now the doorknob latches and I have screens on both doors, just in time for winter.
