& #39;& #39;Life Writing: From Rousseau to Facebook& #39;& #39;
- my experiences and thoughts on this class, a thread
Class 1: i truly didnt know what to expect from this class as i have 0 experience in writing or reading much literature and honestly i https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="✨" title="Funken" aria-label="Emoji: Funken">still dont know for surehttps://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="✨" title="Funken" aria-label="Emoji: Funken"> but im excited
i just know im gonna have to write a lot and be creative but giving me complete freedom is too much for my ADHD i cannot make decisions pls
we talked about vagabonding tho which appearantly is something like wandering through life and honestly that entire concept felt very close to home
session 2: oh my god i LOVED this class?? we talked about the concept of travelers/vagabonds/nomads and how they dont want to conform to society and live in a civilization and people who want to live their dreams instead of rationality it was incredible
when i was younger people always said i didn& #39;t have realistic future goals and im too much of a dreamer and & #39;& #39;thats not how society works& #39;& #39; and i& #39;ve always had an issue with that so now it finally makes sense.
i still don& #39;t understand the concept of a writer& #39;s cabin tho. the romanticization of having to be alone and lonely in the middle of the woods to write is something i& #39;ll have to look into more i think.
session 3: this entire class was about interpreting a painting. if there is one thing i ~suck~ at, its interpreting paintings
