This is my first trip to out of Gauteng since lockdown. I keep telling bae that it feels like my first time flying. I’m so excited. Travelling is my love language. #LeratoTakesWildCoast
OR Tambo (or bae). So what has changed? The usual drop off/pick up zones are closed. Our Uber driver left us here. It’s a quick walk to the Terminals.
Most noticeable change is having to show our boarding passes a lot. Another is safety and sanitation. There are sanitation stations everywhere. My bag is the big one but my fiancee is hauling it around because #mjolo ke scam.

Mediocre coffee never tasted so good. I’ll update you from East London. Summary:
-Show up 2 hours before boarding time
-Bring a pen
-Have your boarding pass on hand from the moment you leave the car.
(I’m shaking with excitement)

We flew Safair. It’s a pity we lack options. I wouldn’t use them otherwise. They aren’t friendly. You know that niceness that’s part of onboarding? Not there. The kept reminding us that we weren’t allowed to take off our masks, which I loved.
