In your blog post you mentioned a sense of isolation from family and friends especially due to Covid. It’s not quite the same, but being also half Indian half white has always made me feel isolated from communities I feel like I should be able to connect to.

My mom is indian my dad is white, the same as your parents. You really helped me feel less alone. I think you were really the first and only YouTuber/celebrity I felt that sense of kinship with! Since I’m white passing I’ve never felt like I belonged in a desi community.

I’ve also never felt like I could identity with being white since I’m culturally far more Indian. I want to thank you for being you. Because you are wonderful. I also want to say thank you for being you because that helped me so much.

I’ve always appreciated humor, creativity and just general weirdness. You helped me feel like it was okay to be me. I hope you know how much I appreciate you and how much of a positive impact you’ve had on me. I truly started to feel more comfortable being myself because of you.
