I just talked to Rich Garner. He’s actually on vacation here from Pennsylvania. When he woke up, he found his rental car smashed under a fallen tree.

“We certainly didn’t expect that,” Garner said after getting off a call with his insurance company.

This is in front of Chris Peterson’s house. He’s running for governor ( @PetersonUtah). “We heard a loud boom last night,” said wife Tera Peterson. Their power has been out for an hour this morning. “I’m nervous, she added. “This could go all day.”

Here’s another look at the Petersons’ yard for scale. It took out a block of the cement.
