Goooood morning Fayettenaaaaam!

I hope everyone had a rona-free weekend.

We will now return to our regularly scheduled programming of outlining all the problems of UARK and shitposting.

Thanks for tuning in.
As we all know, the school is fast approaching 1000 confirmed cases of covid on campus.

Absolutely no one could have seen this coming, especially the administrators, who firmly placed their heads in the sand over the weekend. We will let you know when they pull them back out.
The dashboard now shows the data broken out between students, graduate assistants, faculty, and staff. This clarity is appreciated.

While it doesn’t show RA cases, we will take what we can get. In the meantime, help their petition break 1000 signatures:

Let’s talk more about our statistics at UARK.

“There are 3 types of lies; lies, damned lies, and statistics.” - Benjamin Disraeli

The positivity rate is highly misleading, for several reasons that I will outline in the next tweet.
The positivity rate only includes on campus testing. Since UARK can’t keep track of total off campus tests, they do not factor in self-reported cases into the rate.

While their is virtually no way to correct this, it lowers the positivity rate regardless. But wait, there’s more!
All of athletics is tested weekly. By now, the same 400~500 people have been counted multiple times. This dilutes the positivity rate even further because they are not representative of the general student population.

We are much higher than the 12.6% positivity rate shown.
Now, a moment for our sponsor, #CloseUARK:

Have you or a loved one recently pulled their head out of their own ass?

Then you should look into closing UARK. Only you can protect your students and employees today.

Side effects include actually caring about safety over money.
As we continue to watch UARK foster a threat to the health of Fayetteville, be sure to look out for emails explaining how students need to hold other students accountable, because the administrators just can’t do it themselves.

I’ll be back with more later.
