ok so established bokuatsuaka and kurotsuki,, div 1 sendai frogs vs msby bj. atsumu keeps hearing abt bokuto going on about facing "their tsukki" when the three of them were talking about the upcoming match. of course he knows tsukishima kei from karasuno during hs nationals and https://twitter.com/kurotsukist/status/1302972193765076999

now sendai frogs middle blocker who is feared for his sticky blocks, strategic plays, and now he is also known for his frightening serves (a dual wielder, much like how he was known before perfecting his hybrid serve). atsumu thinks "what makes him so special?" because he sees

bokuto's eyes sparkle whenever he mentions tsukki, and akaashi always has that smile whenever he is brought up, his softest smile paired with a look of pure fondness in his eyes.

the day of the match, he sees the blonde across the net and it clicks. he suddenly understands the adoration radiating off bokuto and akaashi when they talk about "their tsukki".

his mind partially blanks out because tsukishima kei might be the most beautiful man he's ever laid his eyes upon.

atsumu may have been a little distracted during their game. how has he not realized the blonde's beauty before??? sure, his boyfriends are beautiful: keiji is all elegance and gentle curves and swirls while koutarou is bright and bold and hard edges.

but tsukishima kei?

that man is something else entirely.

so after the game he asks bokuto and akaashi about tsukki. and then they tell him all about tokyo training camp and gym 3 shenanigans. they also tell him how tsukki and kuroo have been dating since after their [bokuto and kuroo] last nationals (after karaneko game)

atsumu knows about kuroo of course, the scammer looking dude from jva, he actually saw them after the match and they make a gorgeous couple. he thinks "oh yea, that guy. he's hot too"

and then he looks at bokuto and akaashi, they're looking at him with a certain glint in their eyes so he says "ah shit, i said that out loud didn't i?"

akaashi just laughs at him, and bokuto tells him good-naturedly "oh yeah tsum-tsum!! keiji and i have had a crush on that duo for god knows how long". tsumu thinks that maybe he is not alone in this after all

sometimes bokuto and/or akaashi tease atsumu about his little crush but he neither confirms nor denies. he does, however, think about the attractive couple from time to time.

fast forward to olympics with tsukki in the japan national team

tsumu misses a serve, tsukki calls him a scrub

he smirks and tells him "let me show you how it's done, watch me when it's my turn to serve". atsumu thinks "oh fuck that's so sexc" and he can't think of a proper comeback because ????? error 404 brain cannot function.

bokuto sees everything and he /knows/. he's enjoying this skshsjks

and atsumu is in awe. he knows how good the blonde is even way back in hs. but this tsukishima kei? he's a whole new monster entirely.

kuroo and akaashi in the stands watching the whole thing. they don't exactly hear the exchange but they kind of know what's going on. also akaashi exposing atsumu's little crush and the fact that he also absentmindedly called kuroo hot.

it actually started from me thinking about atsutsukki that's why it's mostly centered on them,, (and i was quietly looking at atsukuro? kuroatsu? waaay before) my brain connected the dots and expanded it into bkatsakkrtsk hhHhhH

basically this whole thread is just me saying everybody is gay for tsukishima kei and div 1 sfrogs and jnt tsukki rights!!
