Elaborating on @wizofecom's tweet #2:

Posting frequency and WHY you should post daily if you are trying to grow on Instagram

This is the original Tweet I am talking about, check it out first if you haven't, and then come back to this tweet. https://twitter.com/wizofecom/status/1302376831207825408?s=20
I managed to grow a bike/motorcycle page to over 50k within a month

How?

I posted about 30 times per day, and almost all of them went viral

This is an EXTREME EXAMPLE

I also have a page that flourishes with one post per day, it works different for almost every page I have
My biggest account (570k) was slowly dying and losing followers a few weeks ago

Why?

I put less effort into posting and managing the page

As soon as the new update that introduced Reels to Instagram, I started posting 6-10 times per day consistently again

Guess what happened?
If you are just starting out, and don't have a lot of followers yet

No one is going to see your posts

This is why I have two preferred ways to start off growth (organically)

1. Start posting a LOT! If you have 0 followers, there's no one getting annoyed by your amount of posts
This means no one is going to unfollow you

Think about it

If your chances of ranking in hashtags or on explore and getting some traffic are 5%

Your chances of ranking a post increase drastically by simply posting a lot more
1/day - 1 viral every few days
5/day - Viral post every day
10/day - 2 viral post every day

See what I mean?
2. Since no one is seeing your posts anyway there is no point in putting a lot of effort into posting

This means you have to gain followers from external sources

EG. If you already have a following somewhere else, transferring them to Instagram
You are also able to buy a shoutout, or pay someone for growth. *Me and my friend have an agency, usual rates are around $150 per 1k followers*

If you do not want to spend any money, that's where interacting with other accounts on Instagram comes into play
You can do targeted f4f. I know it is frowned upon, but hear me out. If you target the right audience, don't spam and do it the right way, it's a pretty good way to kick-start an account.

Combine this with engaging with other people in your niche, just like you do on twitter
These two will enable to you grow your account, so your posts actually reach people

For the most OPTIMAL results, if you have the time and want to put in the effort..

Combine ALL of the strategies

Post a fuck ton AND buy growth AND engage with people in your niche
