[✿] How I Deal and Organize Overwhelming Tasks
—A Thread to hopefully help you avoid breaking down
during hell weeks and deadline weeks

1. List the things you have to do (better write it down on pen and paper but an online to do list works too!)

2. Arrange the to do’s on based on their deadline (prioritized the ones with nearer deadlines). You can arrange them like the examples below.
3. Set a REALISTIC (keyword: realistic) deadline per task. You know your own pacing so assess your yourself, “can I finish this in three hours?” or “Can I handle two tasks before dinnertime?”.
4. Don’t look at the ones you’ve set for tomorrow if you’re not finished for today’s tasks. Set them aside. You can do them later if you have unexpectedly finished today’s (but I suggest don’t)
5. Specify your to do’s on the list. Include the smallest detail so that you can check or cross out small progresses. It will help you feel more productive!

6. Have a system of reward for tasks completed (e.g. two tasks done = one bar of ny favorite chocolate).
7. Take breaks! And if you’re done with everything, rest up, relax, or watch a movie! You’re doing good, hun. You deserve to rest too!
Additional Tips:
• Know yourself! Are you more productive with music? At night? In cold places? With coffee? While eating? These things are totally relative. It differs from people to people so best to figure out what works best for you!
• A system of Punishment also works (sometimes) whenever I cannot focus. I deprive myself from the things I want to do in order to force myself to work. HOWEVER, this may be dangerous as you may end up limiting yourself too much. +
So again, know which works best for you. A system of reward? Of punishment? Or both?

• If you’re feeling like it, you can do things listed on the tomorrow’s to do’s. But I still suggest spending that time to yourself instead. Watch a movie, get that bebe time, sleep more!
