Starting young, @scottishbktrust's Bookbug programme gives every child in Scotland four free bags of books (as babies, toddlers, three and five year olds), aiming to inspire a love of stories, songs and rhymes from birth.

The Live Literature programme @scottishbktrust helps fund author events in communities all over Scotland. Each year it supports around 1,200 author visits, reaching approximately 50,000 people across all 32 local authorities.
