Going to go on a passionate rant about Roman Abramovich, and why he is the greatest owner in world football.
Everyone knows that without Abramovich, this club would have never achieved what it has over the last 16 years. 5 Premier League's, 1 Champions League and numerous domestic cups - no club in England has enjoyed that much success. It's been a great period in our history.
There have been low moments too, particularly in seasons after winning silverware. Abramovich sacked managers after winning the league just a season before, including Mourinho, Ancelotti and Conte. This gave Abramovich the 'ruthless' reputation.
Despite the ruthless tag, there has very rarely been any discontent among the fanbase. The appointment of Rafa Benitez and sacking of Jose Mourinho were the points where Roman's relationship with the fans hit a rocky patch.
But Roman Abramovich has shown another side to him, one that cares about the future of the club and fan opinions. He has pumped a huge amount of money into our youth academy and the Chelsea women's team. It's never been just about the men's first team
He also takes pride in improving the Club's image. There have been many initiatives tackling racism and anti-semitism, spearheaded by Abramovich himself. His response during the Covid-19 pandemic was exceptional too, where many jobs were protected and NHS workers were supported.
There have been questions in recent years over his loyalty to the club, with rumours circulating that he is looking to sell. The fact he's not allowed into the country intensified rumours. However, in 2017 he spent over £220m in the summer with it looking to be more in 2020.
This shows how invested he still is, and with the recent signings, it again shows a long term vision to compete at the highest level. The return of Frank Lampard was a gamble too, but he's done it knowing it would be a popular appointment, particularly after the Sarri saga.
While we all recognise the impact Abramovich has made to Chelsea, the real influence he's had will only be appreciated when he departs the club one day.

Chelsea Football Club is full of legends, but he's in his own league of legends. Thank you, Roman Abramovich.
