Let's see what each member taught to us first:
Louis William Tomlinson: This man taught us to be strong and proved that there's nothing wrong with being young at heart.

Zayn Javaad Malik: He taught us to follow our heart and do what we feel is right.
Liam James Payne: He taught us to never give up and to always dream.
Niall James Horan:He taught us to always smile and be free,and to speak out what we want to.
Harold Edward Styles:This man taught us to love free and be who we are without fear.
Now,as a band,they not only made us smile,they also made us believe that we will always have people to support us and love us,and gave us a huge and amazing family called the directioners or the "clowns". They are the reason so many of us are still alive +
They helped us to let go of our insecurities and fears,at least it helped me,and to deal with other stuff that we faced in our life.They mean the world to so many of us. +
So yes,many of us would give our lives to "That stupid band of immature lads we are OBSESSED with" and that's because that same us have life to give and power to smile because of them. We may be obsessed,but mostly we're just dedicated.
Oh and,these are just some of the reasons,there a hundred others,but that won't fit in this thread.
