Look, if THIS happened to me and I got away as unscathed as Skarloey did I wouldn't set foot (wheel?) on that bridge again either.

Even if the drop didn't kill him or anything, the damage would be pretty extensive no doubt. Skarloey had every right to be afraid of the bridge.

Could the story work better in flashback? Totally

Could it work better with another character? Potentially

But is it bad as is? No.

Also, watching the UK Version makes a difference as well. It's a lot more believable without Brandon's nasally child voice
